Word has gotten out: Stryker Logistics is a great place to work.

Western Kentucky University’s Center for Career and Professional Development recently promoted Stryker in its “Employer Spotlight” feature.

Students at the Bowling Green, Kentucky-based university are given a glimpse into day-to-day life at Stryker and hear directly from many of the company’s employees, including President and Owner Fuji Avdic.

Avdic, a WKU graduate, said that he believes it takes someone innovative, ambitious and unafraid to take risks to succeed in the logistics field.

“We’re a really fun place to work,” he said of why Stryker was featured by WKU. “With the right attitude and approach, WKU graduates can really grow their careers here at Stryker. And actually, we already have many Hilltoppers on our team.”

“Every day here is different,” said Adis Redzic, an account manager at Stryker. “Some days it’s really laid back, and some days it’s pretty fast and challenging.”

Stryker Logistics also counts Seattle Seahawks starting left tackle George Fant, a WKU Hilltopper and Warren Central High School Dragon, among its friends.

“You could be learning about management and transportation, or attending a major event like the Derby or Super Bowl,” Avdic said, “or you could be hanging out with George.”
